Returns & Refunds

Last updated: [DATE]

We want you to be happy with your order. This policy sets out your legal rights and how to send items back. Nothing here reduces your statutory rights.

1. Right to cancel — 14 days

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. You do not need to give a reason.

  • Tell us you want to cancel within those 14 days by emailing with your order number.
  • You then have a further 14 days to send the items back to us.
  • We refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods, or of receiving proof that you have sent them.

2. Refunds

Your refund covers the price of the item and the standard delivery cost you originally paid. If you chose a premium, timed or two-person delivery upgrade, we refund the standard rate only.

Refunds are made to your original payment method and in the currency in which the order was settled. We do not charge restocking fees on standard cancellations.

3. Return postage

  • Change-of-mind returns: you pay the cost of return carriage. For pallet-delivered items such as vanity units and tall columns, we can book the collection for you and deduct the carrier’s charge from your refund; we will confirm that figure in writing before booking.
  • Faulty, damaged or wrong items: we always cover return carriage.

4. Condition of returned items

You may inspect and handle goods as you would in a shop. If the value of an item is reduced by handling beyond what is needed to check it — for example a vanity that has been drilled, fixed to a wall or plumbed in — we may deduct that reduction from your refund. Where possible, keep the crate and the corner protection until you are sure you are keeping the piece.

5. Exceptions to the 14-day cancellation right

The right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Made-to-measure and personalised pieces, including vanities cut to a supplied wall run, non-standard tap-hole drilling and bespoke finishes.
  • Items cut to size from a length at your request.

Standard catalogue sizes are not affected by these exceptions and can be cancelled in the usual way.

6. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Separately from the cancellation right above, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you may:

  • Reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.
  • After 30 days and up to six months, ask for a repair or a replacement; if that is unsuccessful, you can then claim a refund.

This applies even to items that are normally excluded from change-of-mind returns, including made-to-measure pieces, and we pay return carriage for faulty goods. If a mirror or stone top arrives broken, photograph the packaging before unwrapping it further and send the images with your claim.
